AXIAL VINOS is a creative Spanish wine company that produces wine in wineries throughout many of Spain’s leading wine regions – Denominaciones de Origen (DO). We own 3 PROPERTY WINERIES in Cariñena, Campo de Borja and Navarra and export wine from Spain to distributors and retailers across the world.
The origin of our sparkling wine goes back to the end of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), when Ramon Nadal Gir retrieved the vineyards that had been expropriated to make an airfield. He then decided to reorient the family brandy business towards the production of sparkling wine. As a result of this evolution, the first bottle of Nadal Brut saw the light of day in 1943.
Seventy five years later, the fruit of the native varieties of the Penedès Xarel lo,Xarel·lo Vermell, Parellada and Macabeo continue to be cultivated in our vineyards, according to organic viticulture guidelines allowing us to produce long quality vintage sparkling wines inspired in the craft of the méthode champenoise. Since 1998, with the third generation of the Nadal family now heading the winery, our range of products has expanded. We have started to develop the first white wines of the estate with a firm commitment to the xarel lo variety. We also launched the first sweet white wine of natural botrytis developed in Spain. True to the spirit of our founder, the wines of Nadal today continue to express man’s commitment to the land.
Winery located in Tea County, D.O. Rias Baixas. We have 18 hectares of own vineyard, planted between 200-350 m. altitude on the right bank of the river Miño. The vines are 25 -50 years old. Albariño is the grape with which we make all our wines. The different elaborations allow us to show the versatility and potential of this great variety.
Quinta de Aves
Bodegas Quinta de Aves is a family business that elaborates and commercializes volcanic, vegan, and soon, organic wines.
Located in their own Estate at Campo de Calatrava, they only elaborate wines with their own vineyard, assuring maximum quality and controlling the whole process from vines to final product presentation.
Their philosophy and values are determined by respect to the ecosystem, land preservation as well as flora and fauna equilibrium.
